What organizations are involved in askUS? 

askUS is an Operations-wide project.  Representatives from all the Operations areas will help in populating and refining the services presented in askUS, and will use the portal to fulfill your requests.   The project is chartered by the COO and is being implemented by the IT Division.


What software is askUS based on?

askUS is using ServiceNow, a cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) IT Service Management (ITSM) tool.  This is the same application that IT has been using for over four years to manage requests submitted to the IT Help Desk.  In addition to IT, the OCFO has been using ServiceNow to manage requests for Accounts Payable, Procurement and the F$M Help Desk.  It offers a flexible framework that allows for implementing a standard approach to managing services across multi-discipline service areas while providing flexibility in the presentation of service requests.
